As a 59 going on 16 Hot Rodder, I have been piddlin' with cars since I was about 4 years old. My Dad let me "help" him tear apart flatheads in the back yard and I progressed from there. When I was 14 (before I was even allowed to start much less drive a car), I removed the engines from a '41 Ford coupe, a '38 Ford pickup and a '34 3-window. I then got the pickup and '41 running with the only help from my dad was with moving the vechiles around the yard. My latest project is a '32 Ford Roadster. I am trying to do most of the work myself and will be putting the engine (350 sbc, 9.5 with W/P heads, .480 lift cam, Mallory ignition and 4 brl.) together this coming week and painting it and the 700r4, detailing and hopefully install for last time. Trying to be ready for Lone Star Street Rod Club state run in Fredricksburg in May. Will try to include photo with this intro. Thanks, Jim (aka Old Hippie) Remember: 1.Less weight-more speed 2. There's no substitute for cubic inches 3. If it don't go - Chrome It.
