Sorry that it's taken me so long to introduce myself on the message board. My son, a faithful HAMBer told me I need to get with the program. I've been building hot rods since I was in high school in the early sixties. I discovered hot rodding in the late '50's while looking through a Hot Rod Magazine. I think the article was entitled "Buckingham Transfer" or something like that, about a channeled '30 roadster. I guess I never recovered. I've been involved in automotive construction and restoration work for many years. I still own my first car, a '29 Ford tudor, and I am rebuilding the '29 Woody Wagon my kids rode in while they were young. I sold the car to a friend in my small home town and bought it back from his widow after a fire destroyed his business. I'll try to download a few pictures. The last shots show the rear wheel aprons that I just completed. They were a difficult project! I really admire our members and their craftsmanship and their willingness to share their knowledge and experiences with other members. Way to go guys!
Welcome from Alabama (I grew up in SoCal, discovered hot rods about the same time you did....)...look forward to more shots of your woody wagon...
