So I picked this sedan body up today and I can’t seem to identify it... out of all the cars I could think to search for and compare to, it appears to be most similar to a 33 dodge.

    Any help is much appreciated.

2-dr sedan bodies are harder to find than coupe bodies. Here`s a 4-dr sedan. Scan0806.jpg

I was checking out your 33 sedan build, nice work!

I don’t have much of a subframe left in mine and it looks like you built the majority of yours out of tube which I’ll likely be doing. Is your subframe welded in and “one” with the body or is it removable?

Looks like got my work cut out for me if I choose to build it. I’m looking for repop sub rails but I have a feeling I’ll just end up making my own... does anyone know of someone that produces body panels etc. for these?

You need to find a donor. Here`s a 34 4-dr Scan0760.jpg Plymouth. Where are you located. It`s in darn good shape as it was in the ditch nose down.

It's all welded solid. I channeled it a couple inches and got rid of the wooden supports that were between the frame and body.
Looks like yours is missing some metal around the bottom, including the rocker panels under the door. Those hold everything together. They are not reproduced to my knowledge.

    I’m in southwest Oklahoma.

I haven’t been able to find any, Im ok with fabbing some up but with nothing to go off of seems like it could turn into wasted effort easily. Could you maybe get me a pic with a measurement inside of the lower door jamb?

What measurement do you need? Fitting the doors will tell you where everything goes. A pic of the rocker/sill...

  17. I was in high school with a guy who had a '34 Plymouth 4 door sedan that was special ordered new with right hand drive because his great-uncle in Michigan who bought it new was a rural mail carrier. Neat car, had a early '50s Rocket 88 Olds engine in it.
