I am a big fan of American Autowire. These come with all the switches and are very easy to install . Best of all , you wire from the component to the fuse panel , not starting with a big wad of wires already attached to the panel .Makes it much easier all the way through the process and of course all the wire is marked and pre-sorted,organized. Before you buy , look at what all actually comes with the kit ! Another thing nice about AW is the connections to the fuse panel are quick disconnect with a small screwdriver. Very good customer service too.

I just finished wiring my 55 Ford Fairlane with a Rebel Wire 9+3 kit. Highly recommended for the easy to follow instructions and the exellent tech support.

Have had real good luck with Ron Francis, and would reccomend him, but next time I'll probably go with an alliance member, just because.

I have used 2 Its a snap and one ezwire, All with the micro use box. No problems from either. The snaps are both 24 circuit and the ez is a 12. One of the snaps is in my truck.

Rebel. I like them. Their wires are marked more closely than the streetrod counterpart. The gage of wire is very nice. The instructions are good if you have touched a car before, but if you are a gimp you better find a friend that has. If I had to buy another harness to wire a car again....I'd still buy a Rebel harness.

  11. I like the quick disconnect feature from american autowire.

I am currently installing a American Autowire 15 in my 32 Ford 3W coupe. It is small enough to fit on a firewall of a 32 coupe ... with Vintage Air A/C and a glove box. Pretty simple to install and all the wires are well marked.

Not knocking any one else's KITS ...

Rebel Wire is American made and Glenn33 seems to be a stand up type of vendor ( and a HAMBer ) but I went to the NSRA Street REod Nationals in Louisville 2008 and looked at every wiring vendor there. Ron Francis to EZ wire ... and everyone in between.

I liked the American Autowire the best.

Hey Man...I work at Ron Francis and I'm a HAMBer...I highly doubt that you're lining pockets..just paying bills! You can go cheaper price but it won't match our quality.

I bought American Autowire's Highway 22 kit for my '49 Ford. Rebel was a close second choice for me. It came down to the cosmetics of the fuse panel. The kit was broken down into steps that were individually packaged and separately documented. The wires are all individually marked every few inches and almost every imaginable terminal and connector was there, as well. It also came with a generic ignition switch, headlight switch, and dimmer. Bottom line: the car was up and running after a long weekend!
