notching

    SO IM GETTING READY TO NOTCH THE FRAME ON MY 63 F250, THIS MIGHT BE A DUMB QUESTION BUT, IVE SEEN IT DONE ALONG TIME AGO. IM DOING A 7 INCH NOTCH AND YOU WELD IT IN FIRST AND THEN YOU CUT THE FRAME RIGHT, ITS BEEN AWILE, I JUST WANNA MAKE SURE. DONT WANNA BUTCHER.

    Must be typing for the visual impared.. yes you weld in the sides and top of the notch then cut out the frame in between, and box it in.

    make sure your notch is centered where your axle will end up after the air ride. Ive seen a bunch of mini trucks with the axle bottomed out on the side of a monster notch. We are non-conformists.

    yeah im half blind, at least thats what my wife says, right on thank man, just wanna do it right the first time, its been in the family a long time. dont wanna screw it up

    are you going to post pics while your notching it, i hope you do as i am interested on how this is done
