    Larry,
You cannot have the HAMB name ... Deuce Roadster
some guy from SC already has that ...

    And Frank
    ... Bruce Meyers already had 3 or 4 32 3W's also ...
Larry's new Brookville car may still be AT RISK from Bruce Meyers when he gets it done.

    Here's what she'll look like...

It'll be HIGH off the ground

    It'll be traditional

It will have some rare parts...I found an NOS 1st year made 1938 VEGA steering box...:p

I was buried financially in the coupe. Don't get me wrong, it was my dream car...it just went too far.

This car will be fun, inexpensive, and I won't be married to it. The budget is 1/5th of the coupe...I can live with that.

Its easy to get carried away. Im sure my gl*** coupe wasnt nearly as expensive as your steel car but i had a ton of cash in it. I wasnt buried in it but when the opportunity arose to re coupe it all plus I just had to let er go.. I was planning om going cheaper on my roadster also but it doesnt take long..;)

Avoid the Glide. ........well, at least the foam they provide. I have my Glide seat sitting directly on the floor of the roadster and still my coconut sticks up above the windshield. I'm thinking of dumping the Glide and buying a Wise Guys seat. Jim Wise has an incredible amount of experience with foam density. Talk to him first or buy by black upholstered Glide seat. :)

Larry, are you going cold turkey with the roadster thing, or are you going to put a Doane Spencer type top on it?

Hmmm, first Vega steering box 1938, first Vega car built 1971. Took 33 years from design concept to production? Sounds like GM................

    Congrats Larry,

    Rusty

  30. Larry you can not build the roadster for 1/5 of the price of the coupe . I wish that i had know that you wanted a roadster because i have a brookville on a stock powdered coated black frame stock running gear no drop thick axle stock 3.78 to 1 rear end. Lincoln brakes front 47 rear brakes stock steering with 15 to 1 steering 39 mercury engine and trans . I will have Danny send you some pic. Think about using stock seats Your size they work great and you can get them from Labarron-bonney
