Would some one just adopt this frigging kid....Geeez.....the tax deduction will be more than the junk you gave him.....SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think people throw down this broad generalization :

Hot Rod : anything W/ shiny paint and clean all around

Rat Rod : anything w/ flat "primer" finish and dirty in appearance

These terms of course have NOTHING to do w/ mechanical detail and quality.

If you saw a car ,beautifully finished exterior, shiny,clean and polished but was skimped on mechanically would it be labeled a rat ?

 

Nope that would be a "show" rat.
