    I did do a search first. :)

I'm looking at the Novak hydraulic clutch kit and I'm pretty much sold on it. I have a few questions, hopefully someone has the answers.

    1. Which bore on the slave, 3/4" or 7/8"? The set up is going into a full size '59 Ford with a 355 Chevy. I understand that the master and slave bores should match.

    2. Is the Novak line/fitting kit worth $89? It looks really nice, but I doubt I'll be using 3' worth of flex hose. Can I just use something premade, a simple flex hose with the right fittings on each end? Would a hard line with some strain relief (loop) work too?

    3. Source for a master cylinder. I was looking at Wilwood and Howe, they both look pretty nice, is there a GM part number that would work (available in parts houses locally)?

    4. Throw out bearing. I'm using a complete Chevy truck clutch set up (cast iron bell, 11" clutch, etc.), I have it all from A-Z, can I use the factory t/o bearing that comes with it? I would think so since the entire travel on the slave is somewhere around 1".

Anything else I can dredge up as I go along.

    Thanks, Bob

Make sure that you are aware of the Iron bell mod detailed on their site.

I have installed several of these. They work exceptionally well.

Use a flex line. Premade works.

Thanks, I work in a machine shop so anything that needs to be made is easy. Just one of the mounting holes needs the mod. I'll track down a line once I have an idea on routing and length.
