Holy crap! I'd totally forgotten about the Bugaloos! I think my brain just blocked out most of that decade out of self preservation.

the erra you describe was way OT .....my favorite models pertaining to this topic were...."BEERWAGON" c-cab stake body truck, had chain drive rear axle ! ! and the "LIL COFFIN" 32 ford sedan was cool as fuck. Think the 32 was a real car not sure on the c-cab ? ?

This mare saddlebred is a novelty allright , shove a lil ginger stick up her ass she really scoots ! ! ! Ha Ha

P.S. what was that six wheeler the banana splits peeled around in ? ?

That car rocks. I've seen it in person...he keeps it in the house. Drives in through the sliding glass door :D

He has some awesome other cars too.

Damn man, I built about all those kits that came out, when I was a kiddo. At AutoRama setup, I rode on headers of the 'BathTub Buggy' once.......hehehehe
in the 60's, we had the Munsters coach, SSR, Voxmobile, and many others, sittin' in a trailer next to our house for the upcoming AutoRama's, since the Torques, were the host club.

Hey, funnycar65, is that stage coach one of Fahrner's creations. I seem to remember a stage coach rod of some sort when I was working with him on some art work for a car show. It was sitting in his shop in Raytown, MO. I think that may have been it, but I'm not sure.

Kreatures, nope, the Stagecoach wasn't one of Ray's. He built the Wake Wagon to accompany his Boothill Express. The Wake was similar to the stagecoach in that it was a former horse-drawn vehicle too. But it was based upon a luxury, later 1800's-era coach, not a stagecoach. It even had beveled rolldown glass windows in the doors. I think the Stagecoach may have been built in Minneapolis.

Are you the guy who drew the poster with all the cars and his portrait? I recently scored a copy of that one after losing my original one years ago.

It is truely amazing what novelty vehicles are out there.
I would never have known about a large cross section of the pic's posted.
I originally was just expecting the hot rod show novelty Barris style cars but there are folks out there with great imagination and creativity.
