Yeah must just be the angle of the picture nothing is touching the alternator other than the mounts. I would be happy if it was something that simple.
Well I think I have multiple issues. Had another bad alternator, had a wire that was not being used that I had wrapped up under the dash get pinched on a hose clamp that was shorting and I think I have an issue with the starter terminal grounding to the case, but it only does it when fully tightened down. I was finger tightening it while I was testing so it wasn't shorting out until I put everything back together for the final time. I will have to machine a new grommet to go around the terminal to isolate it from the switch case tomorrow as it will probably take a month or more to get a new one in from the U.S. Sent from my SM-G950W using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
