So I decided to take a break from the coupe last night, and I went and saw that new movie elf with a few friends of mine.

So santa's sleigh comes into the scene, and its decked up to look like a super fast hot rod sleigh. and I'm thinking, "where have I seen all of those parts before?" The whole thing was made out of old ford parts! Four transversly mounted buggy springs for suspention, and what looked like old tie rods that connected the runners to the body. And to top it off, it sported a 32 dash with engine turning on the gauge cluster.... except rather than an oil pressure gauge, it had a "christmas spirit gauge"\

So if the kids or the wife (or husband) is bugging you to go, it is in fact worth seeing...

well *I* thought it was worth mentioning.

Do you have any extra Cushman parts? Carb, flywheel, electric plate, pistons?

  3. I think the sleigh was built from a bunch of left over parts from Bleed's shop! [IMG]

How's the knee doing...? I guess you found out that they still can still "BITE" you even after they're butchered...! [IMG] [IMG]

Nice meeting you ..., and be careful at the shop! [IMG]

My knee....black and blue and filled with pain, I ripped that trucks heart out and I guess it had to get one last cheap shot in before bob got rid of it, ha

Hey mark, would you be able to bring that shell down by bob sometime early this week? I've got a radiator coming on tuesday and I'm antsy to get that front end figured out.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the sled! Man, did that thing have a shine or what Was the body made out of wood? Tried to find some pictures of it, no luck. Whoever built that was definitely an artist....

the back has the shape of a late T sedan, but I doubt they would have used one.

But yeah, whoever built that thing has some serious talent, and he knows good parts when he finds them [IMG]

  7. I just got home from "Elf".

It also had seats that were red pleated vinyl and it had chrome strips, like a pickup bed, only thinner, on the floorboards.

Will Ferrell in yellow tights... I'm gonna have nightmares
