Man this is so wrong is even hard to say what is actually wrong w/ it! Holy Jebus, y'know what it looks like to me, it seems like the rat is gettin out of the elevator, and now hes jumpin head first in the concrete to avoid any association w/ the "car"......
Just run the overflow tube up through the ornament. Imagine the fun as you stop in summer traffic at a pedestrian cross walk.
This one started out life as a hood ornamnet for a 52 Chrysler. Now I call it the "Angel Of Death." That UFO is real Sweet!
the donkey is still made at least it was a few years ago, along with a bunch of other crazy ones from Whitney
Had to add this I have to say the Cash Caddy looks better, of course it was built as a joke, I hope the rat mobile guy isn't serious.
That car wasn't built so much as someone crashed through a barn with it and that's what it looked like when it came out the other side. The best I can do on this thread is a guy my buddy later bought a '77 Monte Carlo from, was running around with the top of a bowling trophy for a hood ornament. Which, of course he kept. It probably was the best part of the car, when my friend had it it threw a rod out the oil pan. Still ran though. Sorry no pictures, I didn't see the sense in wasting film on it at the time.
The cool looking spaceship ornament posted by Mike Zenor was designed as an aftermarket novelty hood ornament by none other than Alex Tremulis, designer of the Tucker! I found the patent design under images when googling Alex Tremulis. I want one.
Tingler, you're a sick puppy (Not as sick as that Coyote...) I love it! well, no, actually I hate it but, hey, if your happy who am I to say... Here,s one. I just wish I'd gotten it in ahead of Nekronomicon's (no offense intended) so as to avoid any thought of a connection between 'em theme wise. (maybe I'm giving it too much thought.)
I saw a mid-90s Mercedes at the gas station yesterday. Couldn't fix the busted parking light, but the Merc hood ornament had been replaced by some kind of big clear plastic bird thing, like 4 inches tall or so. If this thread had been up sooner I would have taken a picture.
Yep, they used to have pages of different styles of hood ornaments years ago. It could also have come from Pep Boys or Western Auto in the same time period. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
