  1. I was sent these pictures by a friend to tease me. I do love my flatheads. Unfortunately, I was told none of this is for sale.

It is really swell that he has such a great collection of rare flathead parts. When he dies someone will make a fortune on this shit at the expense of his family.

At least 50 intakes there that would be better on someone's running rod than on that damned wall. Hope his wife doesn't sell them all for scrap aluminum when he dies.

Yeah, he's going to use them someday in some projects. [IMG] At least he's not one of those jackasses that horde stuff and leave it outside to rot.

30roadster & I visited a gentleman in Bryan, Tx last weekend that has some cool flathead stuff. He & his brother were big time drag racers back in the early 60s. Saw lotsa neat old stuff. Maybe 30roadster can post some pics. Nothing like this though.
He had 2 flatheads on engine stands working on the blocks, a complete full race nitro engine ready to go. He has a 27T roadster with a Chevy engine, he is getting the rollcage modified so he can fit in the car & race it, he is in his late 60s, very cool guy.
    Kyle, you got pictures?

Enclosed a pic of my "collection" ... Lasted for 14 days , as I had to sell the PM7 to replace some of the $$ drawn from our "house-fund" when buyin` the " Slingshot "
Guess that guy bought most of those intakes when it was still considerd` trash . !! That big lump of aluminum hangin`on his wall could have been melted down and transformed to Corvette A-Arms by now .... [IMG]
    NICE Collection ... [IMG]
