u guys dont know your drugs, thats an acid trip man... puffin aint gonna make that paint job that beiing said, id drive it! haha
He says it has gotten him more attention than anything he has ever driven. I have a hard time thinking it is people admiring the paint job, but I guess that depends on the crowd he runs in. I'd have to get it repainted before I parked it in front of my house.
I remember a 70 Hemi 'Cuda from New Jersey done the same way back in 1975 or so. It was a suitable "canvas".
I can remember some cars in Indy that was done in that style paint jobs, it makes one think "what the hell was he thinking" but I love thoes paint jobs. The T Bucket is sweet also.
I could see a set of Astro's thin whites and sitting on the deck... to give a better view of the paint.. I would roll it
I would put some cragars or chrome 5 slots and call it a day, theres 946789654 thousand 56 fords, one being a acid trip on wheels doesnt hurt anyone
Years ago I very reluctantly removed a finish like that from an absolutely PERFECT 68 Camaro. It tore me up a bit to do it but the guy insisted. I did talk him into leaving the underside of the trunk with the psyco stuff to sort of "tag" the car. It even had a candy-striped drive shaft. Some of those scemes were really well thought out and if you know the time, you can somehow make sense of them. The truck? Well my jury's out on that one but my initial view is too much of a good thing. I think we ought to have a "break tradition" week here once a year and let everyone post their OT rods and stuff. That time frame is mostly out of our normal realm unless it's on an on-topic ride. I'd love to see any of those late 60s and 70s psyco cars.
I would drive it straight to the paint shop, at night, with the lights out, wearin a mask. I like some weird ****, but that aint one of the turds I like.
I remember a T bucket with a paint job like that in a car dealership near my High School. Thought it was cool at the time.
