NP Transmission ID

Hey guys, picked up a odd, aluminum case, top shifter 4 speed yesterday.
I thought it would prove to be Mopar? but cant seem to "web prove" it.

real square 4 bolt flange pattern, 23 spline input.

Anybody have an ID on a New Process 379L ?

It's a good, beefy lookin little thing, (for a 4 cylinder)... and a top shifter
I'm thinkin of putting it behind my 56 241 Hemi, in my 57 dodge short bed custom.
