Hey Yall! I'm Kreepea from Jacksonville, NC. I'm building a '25 Dodge pickup (270 dodge hemi, crower intake w/6 strombergs, 4-speed, pontiac rearend) and my wife's '49 Hudson (chopped, firebird subframe, pontiac 400/400 combo, hudson rearend). I haven't touched the cars since I moved into the new house over 2 years ago, so when I'm having hotrod withdrawals and get the shakes I log on to the H.A.M.B. for a quick fix. I had the slab poured for the garage yesterday so I may get some winter wrench-time this year and hopefully a driver for next summer.
Welcome Aboard the HAMB train. You're fortunate to have that dragstrip in your backyard. Nice stock of rides. Check www.rockinghamdragway.com .Nostalgia drags and rod show THIS Sat. check my site at www.drag-graphics.com
Thanks for the welcome Dino! You seem to have a nice stable of tin too. I can't make Rockingham Saturday. I'm riding in J'ville's 1st annual Vietnam Memorial bike run then heading to the boat race and car show in Morehead City. If this Nostalgic Race is an annual event, then I'll put it on my schedule to attend next year.
Thats "former" Tin...Currently run my '93 ford shop "Trick Truck", sitting in my paint booth waiting for third day of color work...got tired of the old look. Since coming on this...I've got to get back to my roots with a early 60's style ride...any basket cases in you area?
