First off,...apologies to the memory of Roger Devlin if it ain't exactly right. I was very sorry to hear that he has p***ed on. I never actually saw the car in the metal, but the magazine coverage was,..as for many of us I suppose...one of the cars that got me interested in hot rods, not just cars in general. It was just a mind blowing piece of machinery, that as someone else has stated here, meant all the more for having been created in little ole NZ,...in the sixties!
Thanks to KiwiKev for taking the time to scan all those old HR covers in, and all the rest who responded with photo's of not only WH but all the other cars that I now remember as vividly.
The biggest problem was the pinstriping, By the time I had printed out scans of printed pages, I was down to vague areas that I can only guess at wht was there, so sorry if it ain't exactly so. If anyone has any better rear end shots that show the striping, then I will alter the original.
Again, thanks for helping. It was just something I had been wanting to do for a long time,..revisiting my yoof! I guess, whatever. Hope you enjoy it. Will post a better version of image on my site in a day or two.
