As I sit here safe in my house tonight with my family getting ready to celebrate Christmas, I had thought about past holidays that I missed being deployed. War takes no holiday time off and neither do the bad guys. I just wanted to say thank you to all the Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Marines who are deployed this Christmas season. All those who have served in the past and now can truly empathize with the sacrafice's that you and your families have made. Know this brothers and sisters you are in many of our thoughts. Stay strong and you will be home before you know it......and for those Hot Rodders and Kustomizers, you will all be wrenching and driving soon enough! TTT God Bless, Warrant Officer Candidate Johnson and Family
Well written. Be safe y'all and thanks for your service. Being deployed during the holidays is the hardest. Thanks for posting!
Yes. Well said. Thank you for your service to the people of this country and for your service to the people all over the world that want freedom and peace.
Thanks for starting this thread. I have several members of my club serving in bad places around the globe. Freedom is a pretty wonderful gift. I'm thankful to those who put on the uniform of this country, past and present, for giving me that gift.

Thank you from ***ghanistan. Suffered through Christmas with a festive Lamb... it was delicious, but I would rather be at home enjoying some Moonshine and the family. Of course, moonshine first so I can put up with the family!!!
going to church last nite i was thinking about christmas eve in 1966 we loaded on a boat in Oakland or SF and on christmas day went sailing out and away under the Golden Gate, a MN farm boy 21 yr old heading to Nam what a adventure so all you guys wait paiently till you get home and get back to rodding than you for your service and all that you do
Good thread, and my God Bless all of them, as well as their families. Also all the troops that are here in our country as well.
Mike and John hope the packages arrived without anything missing and you could get a chuckle out of a couple items. Be safe!
Thanks to all my brothers and sisters that have served and are serving. Because of you we had the privilege of waking up in a free country this morning to enjoy another christmas. Merry christmas and thank you. EN2 Michael Warnick
Preach it, brother! I have a nephew on his 3rd tour of Afghan.... They all deserve our love, respect, and support.
To my mates, deployed, home and especialy to you who are no longer with us, we shall meet again soon. Doc.
I had to inject a note of humor. I cousin is serving Canada in Afghanistan right now and we just got an email from him. He got a letter from a random school child in Canada wishing him a merry Christmas. The letter was exactly as follows. "dear Canadian soldier. Thank you for keeping us free. Please don't die, merry Christmas." I love and respect all soldiers serving anywhere, thank you.
