Best option! ...or i was gunna suggest 1/8 MDF or customwood... then I remembered that was banned in the US probably 10 years ago. I have had some success using 2 or 3 sheets of 1/8 MDF soaked for a couple of hours then laid up to get the right thickness. I reckon 1/8 ply would work about the same.
Sorry man, my bad typing, I was referring to me actually remembering the longboard post, then finding it. The link in that thread has some great tech on bending wood (and cool off-topic longboard info).
