It IS for a valve cover, so I should be OK with the OT police?
It is a popular font these days, can anyone ID it?

  3. Check out Chank Diesel:

    www.chank.com

He's got some similar fonts like Parkway Hotel & Motel, Lambrettista, Lemonade Speedster etc.

Lots of cheap or free stuff.

I will look when I get home. I only have MAC fonts though. I could however send you a hires jpg of the word(s) that you want to cast (so you can cut it out of masonite or whatever you are using) in various sizes. If I have it that is.

KC, I'm runnin' a G4 myself. As long as they are Postcript, Mac or Windoze is OK.

I just found www.fontfreak.com last week.

It's got a lot of retro-looking fonts on it. And I'm on a Mac, too! [IMG]

I've got 4-5 that are close, but not quite the same. Do you have anything that is square cut that you can turn into outlines and change to look like that? If it's for a valve cover, I'm guessing it's only a word or two.

    whizzerick,
Font sites are like ****o sites...tons of worthless broken links and damn popup traps. Use daFont.com. It has an amazing amount of free fonts. No ****ty popups or broken links. And very well organized into themes (see Retro sections). Also you can input your sample text and see all the fonts using that text before wasting time DL and installing them.

Hmmm, I was sent this link yesterday for a job I'm working on...Separated at birth? [IMG] Maybe it's a tamplate that anyone can access, or maybe someone got ripped off.
