O/T Calgary HAMBers got a ?

Hey guys, just a quick question. My little brother just moved to Calgary and needs a block heater, maintanence, etc on his econo box. Can anyone recomend a decent shop that won`t rip him off? He`s in the northwest/downtown area.

I run my econobox needs through the highschool auto shop. Right now I'd use Lord Shawnessy. Yes, high school shops can be risky, but I'm following my dad around, he's currently TA for the Shawnessy auto shop.

I don't know how much general maintenance is done there, but Globe Steering is a very good shop. For service station atmosphere, the Varsity Shell has a good reputation too.
