  1. Wow! What's the record for the most pages in a post?

I'm a Wireless Communications Technician for a Public Safety Radio System in SW Missouri. Transplanted from SoCal and only miss it about once a day. Still wonder why there are so many f***in' wires in a wireless system.

  4. Do you like Village people music? Because IN THE NAVY you can have a good time..Actually one of my old coworkers had served in the Navy and he thought he liked it - but then again he did'nt know any better. Hey at least in the Army they have A MOTORPOOL....and that beats the heck out of a water pool!

  5. Actually I just spent 26 years in the Mercedes-Benz parts department. That is where I ended up with my sense of humor. Prior to that I had sold car parts for 4 years. Then after all that I just got in on the ground floor of a new seasonings company. Now my car stuff is for pure fun!

I am a bidnessman. Involved in both manufacturing and service businesses. One second I'm talking about spot welding steel and trying to keep jobs here and the next second the 'puter guy is telling that our servers can handle another million lives(insurance related). Funny thing is even though I have full access to my own plating and powder coating, my truck doesn't have any, go figure.

I used to work on these, but now I'm reduced to playing guitar for seniors dances, and that awful country music to boot. The shame of it all.

  23. My main gig is being the Action Girl (yes, it's on my card) for a Publishing company in Baltimore. That means I do everything from manage our corporate website, to training, to press releases/media relations, to event planning, to graphic design.

For extra cash to fund my many hobbies, I paint (fine art) and also do freelance web design.

I'm at Lawrence Tech University right now for Mechanical Engineering. I worked the summer at Slim's Hotrodd Garage in Eastpointe.

I'm scared shitless of ending up with a job I hate. The one thing I want out of life is a badass job, and then I believe I'll be happy. Somehow engineer at one of the big three doesn't exactly strike me as an amazing job. Any leads on race car driving? heh..

  29. Don't try and pass off "Eastpointe" as anything other than it really is East Detroit. :D

    Gary,
Some us actually know where Benson, AZ is located and have been through the town before the freeway bypassed it.
