O/T Digital camera ..anyone repair em ??

my camera deceided to take a **** this weekend, wasn't dropped, drown, or anything else, just wont power up. Its a Kodak dx3600, and Kodak says 125-185 for the repair, plus shipping. Any HAMBers repair cameras?

Hit it with a sledgehammer before you put it in the trash, that'll knock a thousand years off of its decomposition rate in the landfill...

 

I am not gonna pay that much to fix it, but it is a nice as hell camera, and I hate to give up on it....Toqwik

 

try rechargable batteries,it fixed my kodack.apparently they carry a higher voltage.chris

 

Here is a good trick for future reference, buy the TWO YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY, most places like Best Buys and CompUSA have them for 30-80 dollar, really it's just a no questions aske return. It has worked for me several times in the past, there is not much to repair in one of those cameras unless your are really good with soldering microchips, put it on ebay
