I agree. Best stuff I ever used and it's not oily or greasy and doesn't stink to high heaven like crack cream or some of that girlie smelling stuff (no offense, ladies). Lots of glycerine in it.

Oh-oh...I think I'm seeing a correlation between '32 Ford ownership and cracked fingers...
Maybe the problem is caused by hard rubber steering wheels or that wierd brown plastic in the choke knob...

For immediate relief I use super glue. It also works great on cuts & when you pull the skin loose from under your fingernail. I do agree be pro active and wear gloves when working with solvents. Brian

  5. have the same problem, especially in the winter. Hurts like a sob.

The miracle cure for me is a salve called Carmex, made for cold sores.
Dermatologist told me the cracks are a form of virus, made worse by the skin drying out from solvents, etc.

Put it on at night, next day no pain and cracks are going away. Once they're gone, keep it on as your hands dry out. Wear gloves when possible.

Get it at Walgreen's, etc. $1.29 Manly smell too:cool:

I use superglue and Cornhuskers lotion, seems to do the trick. Don't get mixed-up which one is which.
