O/T Hey you musician types out there in Hambland...

I don't know if you've ever seen this site, but its pretty funny and informative. All I ever look at is the "Nashville Cats" section, but it has some HUGE names that post on there... but under different monikers. See if you can figure out who's who. My friend Dave Roe turned me on to it... Good ol Dave is in this month's Musician mag voted one of the "most influential" musicians (not name droppin', just proud of him)... Good on ya, Dave!!! He is one of my heroes... the BEST b***ist ever, no comparison! Even our own b***ist Buckshot48 will attest to this.

I thought that kinda thing only went on at parties in Arkansas where everyone chipped in and filled dude's boot with cheetos and piss while he was makin out with some hu****ous Godzillian bi-chick in the bathroom....suddenly, it seems so unoriginal...

I don't know Buzzard... have you heard Dave play? He's pretty close... he played with Cash for 25 years, and is currently playing with Dwight... in fact, he's the 1st upright b***ist that Dwight has ever used.

He is one of the best ever. (he'd most likely laugh at that one too)

Dave's a GREAT player and a GREAT guy, congrats to him.

I've heard him play for years, but never got to watch him up close. Just Dwight video's, and stuff. I agree, he is a great player.

I just think it's impossible to say "best" about an artist. Was Michaelangelo the best painter? Or Dali'? The point I was trying to make before was with the different styles, it can be hard to compare.

 

Also, from what I gather, Dwight just confirmed a tour with Buck Owens to start this summer... that will be killer! I'm there!

Man, think of the potential with Buck, Dave Roe, and Pete Anderson playing together. I know that's not necessarily the case, but what a band.

 

Dave told me... I ***umed that it would be Dwight's current little band with Keith Gattis and Dave Roe... I could be wrong tho'...
