Jesse, Thanks for going on your own. Our troops need all the support we can give them. Let them finish off the Muslum extremists over there as there is no room for suicide bombers over here! Gary M.

Thank you for going against greed, and giving to the those who needed it. I am sure that the troops were greatful. It pisses me off that people are quick to judge the war and the troops, and yet have never taken up arms in defense of there own country. Even though you didn't arm yourself and start cleaning the streets of Iraq . You gave the troops there a boost of moral wich is a weapon in it's self. Thanks Jesse

To put it straight...Fuck those network guys!!!! It seems that none of the networks are truly suporting the troops and rarely tell the entire truth about the good that goes on there, and never tell the whole story about the why the violence has escalated. Those guys over there need the entire nations support!!! HOORAY JESSE

Ah, I guess the search is personal to one's own computer. Thanks for pointing out that the link didn't work.

I linked to a list of his posts on HAMB.

The same info can be found by clicking on the username, then selecting "find more posts by JESSEJAMES".

    Me too.

I think you did a good thing. The troops need to be shown we are supporting the job they are doing no matter how we feel about the politics that caused them to go there in the first place. Thanks Jesse.

Interesting post, I saw when you posted it last night and I didn't respond because I wanted to see how others reacted. It seems that most (almost all) are very supportive. I would have to agree I'm not a fan of "tooting your own horn" but either way it shakes out you did good by visiting Iraq.

For us civilians, it's easy to take our soldiers for granted. You have done a pretty good civic duty here. Thanks.

I'm betting the troops you met 100% appreciated your visit.

As far as the shouting from rooftop, pat self on back comments... shit, there's no shortage of self-love and self-promotion here on the HAMB from what I can see. I think it's great. But, apparently a lot of us are a lottery ticket away from going from candid and enthusiastic about ourselves and our projects to being assholes. :D

A point that seems to be missed is that he waited for the people he had disagreements with at DCI to be fired before he posted.

What have I done? Nothing I'm sad to say. I support them, but like most Americans I don't do anything of substance. I'm pleased you used your celebrity for such a worthwhile purpose. If I went to Iraq, to visit with the troops it would be rediculous!
Your personality and drive got you where you are. If you didn't have an 'edge' and take risks, you would be like many of the rest of us. I can't picture you in a sitcom called "Everybody Loves Jesse". And that's fine with me.

Seems Jeese would not have needed to go to Iraq if you neocons had not lied about WMD to start this atrocity of a war!

You followed your heart and you helped people in need of support. We need more of that in the world in general...

I have always thought that hot rodders could come up
with modifications to a Humvee that could protect our
troops better than what has been offered so far.
Talk about a build!!! Talk about a real Monster ,

Clinton and his liberal buddies in the senate were influenced by neocon's lies?...I didn't know that.

(they, including Hillary, approved his bombing of Iraq for that very reason)

    Selective memory?

Maybe I see the JJ post differently ...

He was not bragging that he went ( everyone knows he did ... :) )
He was explaining WHY he was not on the last espisode of the show ...

Lot of different opinions here on the HAMB ... but
The fact is you went ... and helped the morale ...

    End of the story

I think it is cool that a fellow with all the fame/cash and a beautiful wife would risk his life to support the troops ...

now as far as you guys saying Jesse is an ass hole, so what, I'm an asshole and I'm not even a celebrity. I live pretty much as a recluse here on my 11 acres with my dogs, and when I have to deal with most people I usually end up at least a little annoyed, if I had to deal with all the people he deals with covering a full range from haters to ass kissers, I'd fuckin' lose my mind! (and Jesse, that wasn't an ass kiss, just an observation) The point here is that he did a good thing for the troops, and as a Viet era vet I appreciate that, and it's more than most celebs would do, and though I don't follow any of that Hollywood crap, from the little I do know I have a feeling that his wife also supports the troops.
Anyway, thanks for going over Jesse, it was a nice thing to do, and it took guts, though not nearly as much as the troops who are over there doing a hard job every day with little thanks and not nearly as much pay as you received, and nobody shot at you.

Why would you take time out of your day to post this petty thread? You're married to a moive star, a multi-millionare, have a busy shop, and other countless things going for you. However, you take time away from all of that to kick a guy who's down. The same guy that took you from a common builder, no better than many on here, and made you something special. I'm a fan of the Motorcycle Mania shows, but it was obvious with each show you were less and less appreciative of the opportunities you were being given.

I FULLY SUPPORT THE TROOPS, JUST NOT THIS IDIOT!

I think it's great that Jesse posted here. Jesse, Your a talented guy. I'd like to see you step in here now and then and help out on a few tech posts or help out one of us guys working nights in his garage that needs help or advice. Now that would be great! We don't seem to get too many (any) well known guys who are willing to get past the pro and con bullshit that I've been reading for 5 minutes. I guess thats what keeps them all out. Too bad.
