Hahahah, Last year I drove mine in 6" and it got around pretty good. I hope I don't have to drive it in any more snow though, they use salt around here.

When I went to the 50th Roadster show, the top of Donner Summit looked just like that. Just the tips of the taller signs sticking out. I have a friend who has a cabin on the Henry's fork about 65 miles from here. Lots of times in the winter they have to get into the cabin by way of the 2nd floor deck. 10 feet of snow is pretty common there.

think you hate it? i am a substitute teacher. i get paid exactly NOTHING if school is cancelled. and as hilly and challenging as the terrain is, just a little snow closes school. crap. ONLY good things are a) dirt-tracking EVERY corner in my grand am with the beloved E brake, and b) all the time in the world to work on my car...

I don't even mind the salt really. I still drive my old car around. What's it gonna do? Rust? It's so rusty already that the salt doesn't affect it anymore. Besides, it need to be fixed anyway. If I don''t have to fix my car, I get bored [IMG]

Gonna name my next project "Stay Puff". It looked like that garbage can when I dug it out and brought it home.

Took me 1hr 35 min to get home tonight. I-65 was solid ice. Got to see a UPS truck that lost it and wrecked into a concrete support on an underpass. Spent more time sideways than I would like to (unless I were on the dirt)

Can't wait for the humidity again!

Ray, you're so close. On the left is a sacred shrine to the snow Gods built entirely out of white Legos and on the right is a 13" high bundt cake my wife baked for tonights dessert. And yes, it is covered in coconut. Yum, yum!

Donzie, I've been shoveling that coconut all day. Driveway two times and the 180' path to the shop three times. I'm giving up for tonight and if it's like this tomorrow I'm not getting out of bed. I keep telling myself it's only another month and a half and it will start to warm up.

PUSSIES!!! YOU ARE ALL PUSSIES!!!! I just finished towing the world's stupidest driver out of 2 1/2 feet of snow with -41 AND a 15 mph north wind. Try rolling around in a snowbank with a wind chill of over -50!!!!

You'll notice I didn't say anything about gender or cell phones when I could/should have. My own little rant for tonight. Thanks for listening

Trinary, probably no one else here knows where Big Bay is let alone been there. Would imagine Triple A and 510 are closed now.
