Well, Lets start off by given a little history about my dad. My dad has been around hot roding since he was 16, doing his first engine swap taking a 389 Pontiac and putting it in a 57 Chevy out back of his aunts Sunoco station. I should add while my grandmother was away on vacation. From what he tells me it would lift the front wheels off the ground and had to have caterpillar chain holding the engine in the car. It also would blow trans lines when it would hit 2nd gear on a regular basis. Over the years he has had many cars including a 39 ford Tudor sedan running a built marine racing engine flatty. The thing would turn low 18s. Well we currently have a 34 ford 5w with a hoped up sbc that will turn 12s. We are currently working on a 40 merc for someone that I have posted pictures of right here on the HAMB. I have some bad news too report; today I found out that my father has cancer. I ask for your thoughts and prayers in this hard time. We do not know how bad it is yet but I hope to inform soon. Thanks Tony
You have my hopes and prayers. I have lost three close family members to cancer, but two others have beaten the rap-so far. I hope your dad can maintain a positive at***ude and give the fight his all-I think that is really important to getting into remission. Do you know exactly what kind of cancer his has? Best of luck to you all.
Cancer......... it can be beat.......... My Dad had it 15 years ago........he beat it........He died last year at 83....... My prayers are with your Dad...Cancer ****s... .
Ya'll will be in our prayers tonight. Just remeber how powerfull prayer is. My Dad was told by his Docter that the tumor in his cheast was cancer. Then, like, it wasn't. I was in High school at the time and I can remeber after the docter came out the first time, going off by myself in the hospital and praying horder than I ever had before. Anyway, it works brother. Just keep the faith.
You have my prayers. I hope that it was detected early enough. I lost my Dad to stomach cancer 15 years ago. It doesn't seem possible that much time has p***ed. His energy still resonates with all of us in the family. Best wishes to you and your family.
I'm really sorry to hear about this, I hope they got it early enough and he has a full recovery and long and healthy life after he kicks this in the ***! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Add my prayers to the list. My mother is a cancer survivor (over 30 years since they found it). She beat it with early diagnosis a terrific doctor and a lot of prayer. Tell him to keep a positive at***ude and have your whole family pray, it works. Frank

I'm wishing your Dad a speedy and complete recovery. Modern medicine is amazing today and along with prayer things will work out. May God bless. Joel
My thoughts are with you man. I just went through this same situation with my girlfriend. She had limphoma, was diagnosed last year around august. She after 6 chemo treatments and 30 radiation treatments is in remision. These kind of things can be beat. on the other hand they can be hard to deal with as well. You have my support throughout. If you need any advice or just someone to talk to about this I will be there for you man. Hang in there. Eric
Thoughts and prayers from myself. Cancer can be won. Look at the past in racing and building cars when they said it won't work. Have faith, Erron
My wife was given six months to live after the cancer news, that was 12 years ago. It can be beat , my best wishes to your Dad and you.
Tell dad to fight it with all he's got. It can be beaten and having an interest and p***ion in life definitely helps. Best of luck & prayers. Bill
