Yeah he had a video out a couple of years ago called "Rodney Mullens Vs. Dawon Song". It's an AMAZING video. Me and my kids watch it religously. The guy is an incerdible talent! Btw so is Mike Vallely.
i met him when i was a kid...powell traveled around with a half pipe on the back of a truck that unfolded...he did a demo on the flat on one of those freestyle boards...hoppin around in tight pink gay shorts
Rodney is alright, still I never got into the freestyle, its takes talent, but Vert and pools is where its at. I was reading an interview I think it Duane Peters, and he was talking about street skating nowadays, and was like " yeah we had street skating back in the day, but it was called freestyle" thats cracks me up.. No hes good, I wish I could skate like that, but it does not flow right. Some old skaters will know what I mean..

Aaron, is Forward that etnies video?? That is INSANE Taj is one of my all time favorite riders.. pretty much anything Dave Parrick puts together is rad. Animal put out a good BMX vid with some of the best street riding I've seen ever
awesome. I haven't had a chance to scan anything older than '80. A friend of mine actually hunted me down and got me to scan all the pics from that particular park... I just dig still getting to do it. It's fun to teach the young whipper snappers a thing or two.
I would be thrilled if I could pull off any ONE of those tricks. He does it one after another and lands many tricks as manuals!!!! There is a lifetime of tricks in five minutes of video.
Society at large can keep their steroid pumping football, baseball and basketball heroes, skaters like that are true athletes to me. Excelling at their passion for the love of it alone!
