I know this topic is'nt car relaided but thought I might met any hambers that live near me that like to go to the shooting ranges and let off some steam or just like shooting at stuff:D. As for me I own a Glock 17 9mm, and a Mini 14 rifle:D. Just wondering if anybody else enjoys hand guns and rifles??

I enjoy guns of all sorts. Target shooting mostly. I also trap shoot every week for 6 months out of the year. The Grand American Trap Shooting Championships, until this year, was practically in my back yard...awesome event.

Family, hot rods, guns.....life is good :)

As for my guns they are both legal and under my name the mini 14 I just bought off a friend and had to wait ten days to get cleared, and the glock I bought that one brand spankin new:D looking foward to buying me a 12 guage shoot gun

  9. Ruger .357, Mossberg 12 gauge security, Remington 30/30 and "others". None of my guns are acessable to my kids. Scares the hell out of me that my kids might find them but scares the hell out of me even more not to have 'em. I am installing a gun safe in the house for better lock up.

All legal. All locked up in a secured safe. My grandfather taught me to always have the utmost respect for a firearm. I'll teach my kids the same.

Have any of you ever been to the indoor firing range in Burbank?

Hell yeah!! Card carrying life memeber of the NRA. I used to be a FFL holder and alot of guns. Then I got divorced and sold it all. I'm slowly putting the collection back together. I love quail hunting and have a few cool old double's that I love to shoot. And a nice older Ruger bolt gun that my Dad custom built back in the late 50's in .257 Roberts.

Yeah. My buddy at Turners got the new DOJ list and called me immediately. I got the second to last one in the store before the ban. His wife bought the last one. That was a few years ago.

    I have a chopped down Colt .45 auto, a snub-nosed .357 magnum, and a riot 12 guage.

I've been around weapons my whole life, and as much as I enjoy shooting them from time to time, I think people are a bit delusional about the whole "feeling secure with a gun around" thing. Statistically they're WAY more likely to be used against you by an angry spouse of loved one than in some "shooting the robber scenario". Having woken up one lovely morning with my angry (and yes, psycho) girlfriend hovering over me with one of my handguns pointing in my face, I have an appreciation for there statistics.

In my humble opinion, a good dog or 2 is the best way to defend your family. As long as you take care of them, they'll take care of you.

But yeah, I've got a few guns.

Do these count? These are just the long range stuff. I'm a little far away, though. Have to shoot together in spirit.

sks are nice you can convert them to look like AK-47's and they also use the same ammo as an AK-47, I want to buy one but they sell out quick turners:mad:

Rugger stainless steel over under 12 guage with black composit stock and ****. 24" barrels ported on top by Briley....I only got two shots, but it looks mean enough that some times the targets just crumble from fear.

  29. That rocks!!!
My daddy taught me how to shot when I was 12... Was left home alone alot growing up... So he taught me the proper care... and to blow off the head of any SOB who tried to break in...
Plus I grew up wanting to be an Airborne Range like my dad haha...
I do have a lil 6 shooter he bought me when I was 15... but My mama has it locked up somewhere...
I would love to go shooting... Lord knows I need to blow something off...

I enjoy the sks, i've thought about converting it but the clip conversion unless you completly change the stock as well ****s...really you could just buy an Ak for the price of buying a sks and converting to look like one. they do sell pretty quick but there are a lot of them around. a few years ago at a gun show a guy had 3 crate fulls still packed in the original shipping grease going for 150.00 a gun.
