That's sad to hear. R.I.P. Maynard G. Krebs. We'll pray for his family. For many years when people would ask how to pronounce my last name, I'd tell them, just like "Maynard" on Dobie Gillis. Mostly now the old people smile and the young ones give me blank stares. Now people just remember Gilligan. He gave us many laughs and smiles over the years. Thanks Gilligan.

Bob Denver will always be Maynard G. Krebs to me. But Gilligan was truly funny-and in such a simple way-no inuendos or blue humor. He will be missed. Anybody remember Gilligan's first name was Willie? Ginger or MaryAnn--MaryAnn
I grew up with Gilligan... and I wanted to build a car out of bamboo. John and now Bob, when will it end?
