O/T mini bike races at the round up

jefe, any more info brotha? dirt or asphalt?

thanks senior fried, we're going to get our bikes ready by the end of the week and need some info on the track to set our shit up right. gotta test them a few times before we take'm out there.

 

If its the same track that they used at the rot ralley for flat track racing its going to be a rough ride [dirt] even in the arena more of the same, as most all of us have no suspension and plenty of motor.

 

so there are 2 tracks, both dirt? both the same size?

how long are the straight aways?

 

I was in....until I found out we had to turn. I have the same issue as turboroadster. I need about 3 lanes of road to turn my pig around. If it was a drag race, I'd be all over it.

I just grabbed this Fox Doodlebug frame off craigslist...now I have to find the rest of the bits...comes with a mighty 3.5 horse monster.....so short it will be freaky to ride....

 

It is going to be an oval dirt track. We are thinking the one inside the show barn where the swap meet and car corral are located. See the post on the Round Up forum about the layout of the facilities to see the location of the showbarn. We are thinking the racing will take place on Friday afternoon starting around 3pm. I am still trying to find a ring leader for this activity.........you know a camp counselor of sorts.

 

Friday afternoon is going to cut out alot of us who have to work. I'll bring mine anyway in hopes of a saturday heat.

 

With a little work I think you could get a 25HP V-TWIN Vangaurd in there.. Of course that's just me>>>>.
