hi can someone tell me the colour codes or names for the mustang eleanor used in gone in 60 seconds ? . my daughter wants her austin mini painted these colours , cheers sandy.
dont know about Eleanor but the Bullit Mustangs used Highland Green in 1968 and 2009 another popular one is 980 Fathom Green Met, a GM color
The grey is Pepper Grey Metallic...warning, if you haven't seen it in person, it has a LOT of green in it. I happen to like it regardless, but it looks different on film than it does in front of you. Body - Pepper Grey Metallic - Dupont Fleet 44490 Stripes - Black Metallic - Dupont Fleet 44435 I'm just finishing up some work on a reverse-paint scheme Eleanor clone convertible for a customer.
****, nevermind on the greens. DuPont Fleet Pepper Gray Metallic, code number 44490. The stripes were Dupont Fleet Black Mettallic code number 44435. http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic404242.htm google's amazing
Glad to be of help. This picture doesn't do the paint color justice, but here it is...sorry for the O/T model, just trying to help:
They are PS Engineering replicas of the original Shelby Cobra wheels (made by Halibrand). They were on the car when he bought it, and correct for an "Eleanor" replica. They are 17s. They are a little blingy for me too, in finish, but I love the design.
