Rocky---whether boy or girl.. When they have kids, there could be Rocky 2 Rocky 3 Rocky 4..you get the idea. It's been done so I know it works...
If its a girl you could name her after the two women that used to work at my shop..Vagina (pronounced Vuhgeena) or Dorita. I am not lying about those names either!
Named mine Cheyanne and Dakota. The third was gonna be ford, but my wife said I was out of bullets. TP
That's "Francis Marion Morrison" Denise. He was named for the Swamp Fox. No wonder he went with Duke! Bet he was tough in school.
Give her/him a name that won't be an embarassment when they are an adult. I knew a kid in school who's actual given name was "Sonny" not too cool unless you're a hippy singer. He hated it by the time he got his permanent teeth.
Gotta watch the initials too. I remember Vicky Daniels being branded VD in high school. Kids can be pretty cruel. Name the kid Oops! at least you'll be honest.
let the kid choose it's own name, it's a free country aint it?! how about Pleather if it's a girl, or like said ealier Chevy if it's a boy?
If......... I would'a ,could'a ........ HE..... woulda been named..... Houdini....... If....... he could escape from the trap I set for him....... He would'a EARNED it......... Sorry boys and girls...... NO boys..... OR girls..... for THIS kid.........
how about Chassis for a girl. be a bitch teaching her phoenetics and stuff when she gets older...but i think its kinda cute
Not all car names but "Cool"..., Boy names; Mitchell (after General Billy Mitchell), Victor (RCA), Tucker (cars), Vincent (like the motorcycle), Milo (my favorite uncle), Otto (Cool) or Riley! Girls names; Victoria (as in..., "secret"), Riley, Macenzie, Natilly (Tilly), or Jillian! Good Luck..., Mark
Hey Flattie, My brother has a major infatuation with Pontiac musclecars (think GTO). Especially those of the 1970 vintage. In honor of that he named his first daughter Sevindee, and his son Holden (in honor of the 2004 - made in Aussie - GTO). I had every intentention of naming my kid Deuce, But my wife wasn't willing to be so over the top. We settled on Drea (pron- DRAYA). If you have any inspiration from old rock or blues stars I think that would be just as cool as a hot-rod related name. Which reminds me - how about Roth? I'd name my next Moriarity if it wasn't so damn hard to say.... Of course take this all with a grain of salt concidering the fact that my real name is Damion.....
i think in a world today where one name can be spelled nine different ways and still be pronounced very closely, you should just stick with a simple name, standard spelling, it will really help once the kid gets to high school and college.
I always wanted to be a dick and name my kid XPJ5Q and say it's pronounced "Dave" or something like that. But I had a girl, and I've said since I was about 8 that if I ever had a girl it would be REGAN TERESA, after Linda Blair's character in the Excorcist. Believe it or not, the baby momma went with it! I tried to get the spelling changed to RAYGUN (in honor of 50's scifi movies), but mom said no!
ok pete, on a serious note...if you have a girl, i would go with BONNEVILLE...bonnie for short...or... HOLLEY (ya can't go wrong with holley...) if i were to ever have kids (which will never happen!!) my top picks would be Thea Lorraine (girl) and Alastair Robert (boy)
Don't saddle your kid with something stupid cuz it sounds "cool" and amusing now...you'll be sorry and he will think you are a moron when he's old enough to understand. Don't name him after movie stars or soap opera players. Name him after someone you respect or somepne you wish to honor. Don't name him after you, let him be his own person. I was named after my Grandfather who died two months before I was born. I named my daughter after my Grandmother who died when I was very young, my son was named after my (ex)wife's late grandfather. My youngest carries my maternal Grandmother's (also deceased) name.....and on it goes.
