OK, I just watched Cannonball Run, the comedy with Burt Reynolds and in the credits it lists Norm! Only problem is, I didn't see him, can anyone point out where in the film he is? Thanks, Doc.
I too, have noticed his name, but I have never been able to find him in the movie. I have only seen it a few hundered times though.
I'm thinking out loud here but if they mention credit to him without a character name then I'm thinking maybe he supplied a car or two or helped build the cars for the movie. It's been a long time since I saw that movie. Just pulling at straws here because I don't remember him either but I never knew he appeared in credits until now.
Looks like ol Normie in the striped shirt putting the tire on. Saw him at the GNRS this year, great guy and full of fun and jokes. The FOGGER
That is indeed Normie changing the tire. He told me that he had a lot more lines in the movie when it was in production. He said most of his part ended up on the cutting room floor. Doc.
That's funny, I just watched this movie a few nights ago and was wondering the same thing. Now I know! I love the HAMB! lol
I don't think I've seen the first one. CMT keeps running the second one into the ground, and it's so bad it makes Smokey & The Bandit look like high culture. (and I hate to say that, because I like a lot of the actors who were in it, but you can't polish a turd no matter how much talent you have I guess).
Yep, I know this thread is ancient... But the dude holding up the van while Normski changes the tire is none other than NFL player, Joe Klecko P.S. Larry, I miss giving you grief on the HAMB... See you in the great host hotel parking lot in the sky brother
I knew that Norm Grabowski was in a lot of movies and TV shows, but I didn't realize how many. Good for him. He lived a great life and left a legend for us to follow. I was fortunate enough to meet him at The Wheels Of Time car show in Macungie, Pennsylvania many years ago.
