So sorry to hear this, I had no idea he was sick. I will miss him a bunch at the Turkey Run, always great to hang out with him and eat a burger or two in Max's swap space. I hate the big C, I'm so over it claiming family and friends Condolences to his family and many friends he left behind. He'll be in my thoughts while I'm cruising in the roadster tonight.
Hate to hear this, I just got home from a funeral this afternoon, it's always sad. God be with his family, and friends.
we lost one of the good ones today people, those who have had the luck to have met Dan know what I mean by this.. you would be hard pressed to find a better person, always had a kind, encouraging word and a smile on his face... Miss ya Dan...
I'm going to miss him. We ran into each other a lot in the last 5-6 years and my wife and I always enjoyed seeing him. It ****s when the good guys move on.
Here is a pic of Dan doing one of the things he loved, talking hotrods. I'm sure he is up there right now bench racing with some of the greats. Godspeed friend.
RIP Buddy. Remember hanging with him at the Summit show toys for tots. first time I meet him and it was like we were old friends, spent a few hours walking around with him and talking. Ran into him many more times, always had something good to say and a smile on his face.....It's a really sad day....
I am so beat up from buring my friends,,,Dan and Will in the last month. Not to forget Hamb Andy also. I HATE CANCER. Dan will be missed by everyone that knew him,,,keep his family in your prayers. HRP
This is a terrible loss. Those who knew Dan will be deeply effected. He was as good as they get. I had the honor of having him consider me a friend. I respected him tremendously. A real stand up guy. He loved his wife, family, friends, and hot rods. I have posted a few pics of his pride and joy. Also one of him sitting in his car, that someone had taken of him. It was posted here on the HAMB. I thank whomever posted it. I had to save it, as it was a wonderful shot of Dan. I think this is how he would like everyone to remember him. In his hot rod, happy, loving life. God bless ya Dan. You deserve it.
