FWIW, I have a basic Earthlink account with the spam filter, and I get very little spam, maybe 5-10 a week. The university that I work for has no filter; my campus email addy is so clogged with that **** I don't even open it anymore. I'm still in favor of legislation to *****-slap spammers & telemarketers, though.
