O/T Seen the tank engine mustang? Heard it running???

    Lucky, where did you get the info that it 's a tank engine? A friend of mine put a ford v-10 in a 67 mustang last year. Did a nice job on it. TP

    Pictures of this monster were posted before, along with the story. It's a ford aluminum tank motor out of a WWII tank. I just found this movie of it running and thought, in spite of its off topickness, that you guys would dig it.

    There was a blurb about it in one of the recent magazines, but don't remember which one. It looks grossly out of place, but should be interesting to see and hear at a minimum.

    Agreed, but damn, the heads won't even fit under the hood, and perhaps part of the block will also stick out. Gottta admire the shear excess of the whole proposition. Hey, at least the motor is period correct for the HAMB....hahaha

    Haha, that thing sound ridiculously loud... the National Guard Armory is right down the street and they have tanks out front... :D
