ok hambers..it's my birthday so humor me...when i was a bit younger my dad took me to a tractor supply house and on the showroom floor was a pink and white international truck.it looked like a cameo but the lines were not crisp.it had green interior.the sign said it was an anniversary special. during my cc meeting i brought up this vision....even tho i'm the prez...they laughed me out of the joint.....so for my birthday ,i was hoping to find such a critter and finally put this issue to rest. it would be 1955 to 1958. i have yet to find it in any search...or was i suffering from too much castor oil????
just so you guys don't think i'm getting old and crazy.my son just emailed me these pics. it's a 57 international...golden jubilee....any comments on making a cool ride out of this.i think there were only 500 made but i sure would like to do some cutting on one of these.it's been in my head 50 years or so. i know it's ugly but what the hell...
Hey Ugly is cool, and I'm one Cool SOB! I like the old binders. Toughest truck ever built. Lots of room under the hood to put whatever power plant you want.
The Golden Jubilee's are cool. I looked for one when I was getting my International. I know of someone on here that has a spare bed. I wish they would send it my way.
The one posted above was known as a golden jubilee it was available in 57 or 58 I believe celebrating 50 years of the truck line. The cameo sides you speak of came in late 57 and the color combo I think was called cambrian coral and baronial ivory, don't think it was part of a special package though. Good luck,Pool.
I had a gold and white one a few years ago. Had guys fighting over it. Although I liked it and knew it was real rare I didn't want to keep it. Some guy near Hannibal, MO got mine.
