    Lucky 77,

Pranks should stay where they belong with small minds and dropouts from high school. Be cool and wish the retiree a great life after working so hard to get to where he is now. A little respect goes a long ways. A good way to lose friends is being a prankster.

Geeeez, like I said earlier this guy is like my second dad. I've worked side by side with him for the last eight years. He helped wire my garage and I helped build his. The guy is one of the few people on earth that really knows me. The last thing I wanted to do was humiliate, or injure him. THE WHOLE SHIFT wanted to do something, I was just in charge because he and I are so close. On his way to the shower one of the women on shift got him with a little whipped cream, that was it. Other than that we all autographed a giant print of his face, and kicked him out a few hours early after a lot of hugs and handshakes. I think that's a sign of respect that everyone would make a big deal about a guy leaving for good. It's most likely a sign of small minds to play by the rules, no horseplay, no fun, regulation this and that.....
