Its almost enough to make you wanna kill someone..... Went out this afternoon, over to where the car is parked, and oh look our bikes have been stolen, lock cut through, and both of them gone sometime overnight. I know there's not much hope in ever seeing them again, but would appreciate you all keeping an eye open if your in the Campbell/San Jose area. They are both Schwinn Cruiser SS models. This one but black with Whitewall tires. One with chrome fenders & a rack, the other one without. They both have some fairly unusual (over here anyway) Ace Café London decals, one of them, on the chain guard, the other on the tip of the chrome rear fender. There's also a red `Devil Doll' decal on the chrome fendered one (The wife's, go figure) In addition, the other one has a decal of pair of playing cards, both Aces on the chain guard, as well as a shield shaped white decal with `UKMOC' and a side on view of a motorcycle on it. Both also have little 50's style Space Rocket decals with little flames on them as well. ALL THE DECALS WERE CLEAR COATED, SO TO REMOVE THEM WILL REQUIRE LOTS OF PAINT SCRAPING, WHICH WILL BE FAIRLY EVIDENT IF DONE. I will email pictures to you if needed. If anyone sees em, or thinks they do, please call me on 408 646 3734. Thanks guys & gals, normal service will resume now. Dave & Ginger
Sorry to hear it. I got hit again too. Used bolt cutters to get to 2 chain saws at my dad's place....I hate thieves! Maybe some mid-eastern cultures aren't too far off with removing hands of thieves. Hope ya get your bikes back. Did you record the stamped serial #'s on the bottom of the frames? Makes it easier to recover them from Police impound.
That Sucks!! Post some pics and I'll put the word out in So.Cal.. I ride with a big Crew in Long Beach, same style!

i told my brother,he rides his bike around campbell all the time.he sez he'll keep an eye out for'em.
Thanks George, appreciate it. Tell Jason thanks too. Been in contact with a guy from the Los Gatos Cruisers, and he said he would 'spread the word' too. See you next Thursday? Dave
Got a Sunday swap meet in your town? Or even in a town not too far away? Lotta stolen stuff turns up at the swaps first Sunday after it's stolen.
I, Personally, think every third thief should be shot dead and left on the square for the rats to eat.

Went over Tesco's this morning & didn't see 'em!! Only joking just trying cheer you up....sorry to hear that Dave hope you find them.
[ QUOTE ] I, Personally, think every third thief should be shot dead and left on the square for the rats to eat. [/ QUOTE ] Hey, in Detroit yesterday three teenaged punks wrecked a stolen car. The good news is that two of them died in the crash. The bad news is that the cops called an ambulance for the third! Nobody else injured...thieves DEAD (or severely wounded), as it should be!

[quote Like I always say..."Stupidity SHOULD be painful!" [/ QUOTE ] yepp I liked that saying so much I use it as sig on some of the other boards I belong to...... & as for the thieves, maybe hanging should become legal again along w/removing body parts ....joe
A32, There's a bicycle "cruise" at the Crappy Daze on like the second Wednesday of every Month (or something). It's REALLY big. People bring vintage, lowrider, repro, custom, chopper, etc.etc. The one day I drove by there had to be 70-100 bikes out. You may want to ask the staff at Crappy when the bicycle show is, I'm sure they could tell you. Good luck. That really sucks. -r

Went to see him yesterday. He said, if they don't turn up through the usual channels....then they are likely on the way to San Diego, in a truck, to be chopped..... And '56, thanks for the offer, I have only got a couple of crappy photos of them, but they look like THIS but in Black. Thanks again for your support everyone. dave

Ditto on the removal of body parts for thieves. Is it India after they take off your second hand it's death for the third offence? A practice, which I can imagine, acts as somewhat of a deterent for at least some potential theives. Frank
