O/T What size tires do you put on 27 inch wheels?

I learned something that traditional rodders wouldn't know (or give a damn about) today. I'll give you the answer later...............

27 inch wheels don't sound traditional.
Unless it's on a DC3.

 

My Nishiki has a 1" wide tire...

Yep, My GT Cirque has them 700x35C tars.

You mount the 22" tires on from the rear and the front actually has a 2 1/2" lip hiding some of the sidewall. WTF over?

Well that's one (useless) thing I learned today, might be good for a beer at the next rod run though

27"? Saw a deuce roadster in Indy that must have had at least 27" wheels - lots of different colors on the body - thought at first it must be a tractor. All it needed was a mower deck or a wagon behind it - probably cost about $100,000.00 or so. Coulda bought a great John Deere
