O/T What the heck is this ?

  1. We used to have something kinda like that. We called it BULA!! BULA THE BALL BREAKER!!!! >>>>. Holy **** this is my 1100th post and it could not be possible with out high tec **** like this >>>>.

    I don't know about high tec but my girlfriends dad was a thinker when he built this stuff back then..lol

    "Military WWII Signal Corps TG-34-A Keyer. Small paper tape reader in olive drab
    case that was used for mobile code practice. It reads an inked paper tape
    (unlike the Instructographs which read punched paper tapes)."

    what else did you find in there?

    thinkin about that gas powered battery charger. ------ this guy walks into a bar with a pair of jumper cables around his neck, as he walks in the bar tender stares him down awhile & then says: "dont start anything!" :D

    That is a Morse code practice machine. We used them in high school radio shack to study for our HAM license. It would play the Morse letters and numbers so you could learn the code. Looks like it came right out of Fairfield High School Ham club circa 1960. Was surplus.

    It is definitely a trubo encapulator. The other is an artillery wheel. The lowrider guys will pay big bucks for that!

    Im thinking more like a RTTY machine (radio teletype) if i remember right they had a machine like a typewriter they pre punched the tapes on then fed them into the machine in the pic and let r rip the result was rtty or for anyne that doesnt know hi speed morse code..

    Holy **** that note is funny!!! "A word to the wise is enough, so shuffle along". :)

    Good thing chicks don't write like that anymore, If I ever got a note like that, my buddy's would never me live it down.

    My girlfriends dad used to own a couple gas stations up to 1968, I posted a couple pictures over in the "cool photos" thread. They are cleaning out the family house which used to belong his dad, the sad thing is one sister is a s****per and took 3 loads to s**** before I got there.
    I also found several slides from Nelsons Ledgers, looks to be a road course somewhere, from the mid 60's. Lots of vintage racers, I need to figure out how to get those to print.
