I'm working to finish my wifes O/T 47 chevy and took the wheels (billet:() to my tire shop to get the tires mounted and the shop wouldn't mount them as they said the wheels were out of round. we put a dial indicator on them and it varied .030in on the bead surface. Should they be better than that? I did a search and got more confused; is run out the same thing? I've always run steel on everything else I've owned and don't know enough to argue with the wheel dealer. Thanks in advance, I sure would like to get back to my T

Tire retailers usually don't hire engineering graduates.
