I did something today that I've never done before. I got fired. "AW ****" was my 1st reaction. But now, I have a really cool job at "1 Bad LS1 Racing". Basically it's a shop aimed towards go fast stuff for late models but I'm workin' on gettin some old-school stuff also. I honestly beleive this happened for the better. I was getting burned-out working (slaving?) for 'America's Largest Indepen...' I didn't care anymore and got fired for a stupid reason. My pregnant wife was really worried at first. But I calmed her nerves with the news of better pay and better benefits. Sorry Flint HAMBERS, no more super hook-ups on wheels and tires, just speed parts!!
Keep up with the good at***iude... It will pay off in the end. And keep me in mind, if the **** at work keeps going in the direction it is, I may need a job hookup! Jay
Get your unemployment benefits....unless you were fired for stealing or drunk on the job, you won't be denied benefits. They will probably fight it, but be sure to file an appeal if they win the first round. Nice cushion while you are sorting things out.
I think Hatch is speaking from experience. Then after 3 or 4 years if you haven't got it figured out say to hell with it and get rich the easy way. haha!!!!! Frank
Hatch, I don't think he can collect if he is already employed. Unless his new pay is still under whatever their limits are. Then go for it. It's YOURS, you paid for it.
God Damn Pete! At least you helped me mix radials and bias tires before ya got canned! I'll get the details Friday, but glad to hear you're looking at the positives! If you're working for the guy you were telling me about, I think you'll be a lot better off when junior comes. Big corps could give two ****s about family matters.
