Great pics, Falcon. I am I wrong for missing how cool Resto Rods were/are? I don't care, I still like them.

 

Yup, it's a 33, single hood handle. I stood around for about 5 minutes trying to get a shot of the front of that tub, as soon as I gave up and moved to the back, the crowd of guys in front of the car walked away... I thought about going back to the front of the car, but I figured they'd see me and come back...

On the non-hamb friendly 40 convert, I was actually referring to another one I didn't post. Impressive car, but WAAAAY non-hamb friendly...
There were a total of 4 '40 converts present, but no '39's Although Keith knows of another one in the works around here...

 

I totally got the resto-rod thing at the time. It was the ****era '29, and the Coddington cars that followed that made my eyes glaze over.

 

Mike, I went back and read my post on the '40 convert, I knew what I was TRYING to say, what I said was a whole nother matter!

I didn't see it, don't think it was there this year. The number of new cars was impressive.

Apparently the tail lights get very small, very quickly!
