Here's the latest photos of my Vicky. It's going to be drivable in Dec and premiering at the Grand National Roadster Show in Jan.

The guys at Starlite have just done a kick ass job on this thing.

Downtown Willy's stitch work is awesome.

I'll have more update pics as the car gets closer to completeion. KK

Looks good, you got a good eye! I like those smooth lines and well-designed details. Which engine are going to run?

The color is going to be Violet with a lavender roof with microflake.

Here's a pic of the motor It's a 390 Ford with a factory Tri power I designed and had the stacks cast.

I also included a close up of the speaker grille I did, using an Impala bezel , a '55 T-Bird hood Crest and a hand carved "V" that I made from aluminum. KK

It's 8 1/2 inches longer, 4 inchs in the rear quarters , the Mercury front clip is 1 1/2 inchs longer and the Corvette bumper protrudes 3 inchs. KK

    Great job man.
    Love the rear end treatment.
Just one little question..you obviuosly put a lot of thought into this car and im not Knockin..but why the straight section above the rear side windows..?
a curve there would be more in keeping..wish i could photoshop to show what i meant.
Were they straight in that section stock?

That's a good suggestion , and we all thought about that. That's a '65 Buick wildcat roof, and a '67 Camaro rear window glass, both which have very shallow crowns.

What you're suggesting would have required changing the entire crown of the Buick roof. It was close to 40 hours just getting that roof narrowed and fitted on the car.

Trust me it was going to be way too much work and time for not that much of a change, when we we're originally shooting to get this car to SEMA this year.

When you see the car in real life the transition isn't really noticable. KK

Love the car and the style. Have to agree with lowsquire though on the roof. The style is wonderful but that straight line jumps out at ya... That being said, its waythehell better than I could do... AWESOME!

I forgot one pic. Here's the interior door panel. They're going to have arm rest painted to match the exterior with 3 Mercury side spears.

The interior door knobs are from a '64 Corvette. KK

That Ford crest looks like the one off of the gas filler door from a T-bird. I think the front ones had a vee shaped backside so they wouldn't lay flat like that.

Sorry to be a super-picky detail bitch. I do love the car, I think the roof matches the front wheel openings and the rear fender "pontoons" very well. I'm not seeing the "straight line" that everyone's commenting on. Got any other pics of the rear?

Squab I think only one person pointed it out. I was scolling thru to see what roof was on it...I was close but didn't catch the rear window. I think you got it pretty much nailed like it is dude. Fuggin' love it. I think the roof's just right...lends visual length and is sexy with all the other changes.

Can't wait to see it finished up.

The Crest is from the front and rear of a '55 T-Bird. The "V" I made.

I only have the one pic of the rear now. Soon as the car's in base coat I'm going to shoot another set of pics with all the chrome trim on it. KK
