Technical Odd Lake Pipe setup

    Does anybody know how this was done? Looks like something off a lawnmower or an appliance that's been chromed, and mounted as a pipe escutcheon. I've been trying to decide if I want to re-mount the lakers, & I think it's a pretty cool bit of trim.

    looks kind of silly to me with the pipes 4" from the rocker panel.

    Yeah, the angle on my fenders would bring the pipe in closer. On a slab-sided shoebox they do stick out a little.
