I went to a HS reunion a few weeks ago & one of my cl***mates gave me this license plate topper, its from the High School we attended, Saunders trade & technical In Yonkers NY.He said he found it in the ba*****t of a old apartment building in Yonkers hanging on a nail!
I can't find out much info on it except that its probably from the 30's even the
Plaque Guru, Dennis" Were"s my spare tire" O'Brein( LOL) couldn't give me much info on it!
    Anyone ever see one before?

They probably made them in shop cl***. Were you skipping that day Jim? Pretty awesome find! I've never seen one and I'm always looking at them on Ebad.

It must have been less rare than we think today. I have one from Houston. Redskins with a football player throwing a foot ball on top. It must have been a high school item. I milled the Houston off of it so that I'd get all the local Redskin fans upset. Where did you get that?

That's very cool. All my H.S. ever had were water-slide decals.:) Still have an unused one (guess that would be NOS, ha,ha) resting inside a yearbook. Always thought it would be fun to replace the car I drove in H.S. and put the decal in the back window....Tag topper would be much kooler though.

I can't believe that many people drove to high school in the thirties. It has to be very rare. Maybe they were made for the faculty? A great find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
