Didn't I see Fred Astaire driving that the other night? ;)

Ya shure did! You'll see it every year around this time delivering mail to the North Pole on that vintage, animated Christmas show the name of which eludes me right now.

and that's why I never got laid again.

seriously...who could have possibly thought this was a good enough idea to go through with it ? at what point can you actually have consumed enough mind altering drugs to think "this is a great idea!"

was he standing by his Barbecue pit one night and thought "man...I bet that thing would HAUL ASS!"

I mean c'mon. it required at least 4 or more tirps to Auto zone, the junkyard or somewhere...you'd think that somewhere along the trip this cat had to have thought..."I'm building a 55 gallon drum. that I had to extend. this might be a bad idea."

I wonder what the n.s.r.a. safety inspectors had to say about it...
    or the title company.
or the first of probably very, very many cops that pulled him over.

(can you Imagine THAT squad house conversation was like? "so, uhh,Sarge...I pulled over a 55 gallon drum this evening...")

or that poor bastards call into the dispatch...chhhk "This is car 54, Pulled over a 55 gallon drum at the corner of dumbass and dipshit...
black, looks to be about an '85. "

ha ha ha "Lisence and registration,sir...or mabey a recipt from Exxon?"

worse yet- Imagine getting OUTRUN by a guy in a barrel.

I could go on for hours.

The moral of the story is.....(drum roll please)

Don't EVER blow your body work budget on shiny new wheels.

    again.
    "lessee...400 square feet of 18 guage steel...check
    sheet metal break...check
couple rows of awesome green l.e.d's...check
    10,000 rivits...check
and the clencher...a brand new set of Torque thrust "D"'s

    A.M.B.R...here we come!"

Heim ends cost what...10,20 bucks a peice? and the hitches are probably 30.

the title for this picture should be "Hold my beer and watch THIS!"

man..all the goodies, too pinto 4 banger, the worst front axle ever bolted beneath a 4x4, and a fram oil filter.

Proof positive that one way or another, Methamphetamine will get you killed. (but I bet his batroom grout is freakin SPOTLESS!)

hopefully, the pinto motor died well befor it ever went fast enough for the trailer hitches to come unlatched.

  14. Boy, wrestling sure has taken it's toll on Hulk Hogan!

  15. Somewhere I have the remains of an old model kit that was based on a '60's show rod - the bodywork consisted of toilets for seats and a bathub, or maybe it was two tubs and one toilet. That one makes me say WTF. Then again a large percentage of that stuff makes me say WTF. Even (heresy?) Ed Roth's stuff.

only the poms and the aussies will know he make of the parts used to "build" this.kiwis won't admit it.

  24. That's the kit. At least you don't have to pull over to use the rest area with it... and if the wind gives your passengers an impromptu shower, they're already in the tub anyways...

  25. What you do is build it, then take it to an auction and get $360,000.00 for it.
